What I want to know is what ever happened to guys like the Funky Bunch, or Vanilla Ice. You know the very white kids that actually tried to make a rap music CD? And while the musical world is amuck with trash talking about these many white rappers, I still miss the day when there were some more rap music CDs coming out by these cats. I am not saying that stars like Eminem are not cool, and yes he has plenty of great rap music CDs, but I would be nice to see Marky Mark back on the trail again, releasing a new rap music CD. Sure there are some great rap music Cds out there, and I am not saying that rap is bad. I would just like to see a little more variation in the market. In rock, for example, you see plenty of variation, to likes of Lenny Cravitz and others, that help to shift the identity of the music to just the music, and not a race. But with the more recent rap music CDs I have seen, it seems like we are do for more integration. Where are all of the Latino and Caucasian rappers?
