Mash up is an idea of two differing music styles blending together to create a new sound. If you listen to rap music then you have probably heard the past Linkin Park and Jay-Z mash up. The two artists took their popular singles and blended them into one in another's songs, creating a great rap music CD. What other new rap music mash ups have you heard? There are also many people who create freeware CD's for fun that blend one style with another. One of my favorite rap music CDs that does this is called "Blue Eyes Meets Bedstuy" that blends The Notorious B.I.G. with Frank Sinatra. This is an unlikely pair that sounds great together. I have attached a recent new rap music mash up with Travis Barker on the drums over Soulja Boy's "Crank That" single. What do you think? Barker is extraordinary on the drums and blends perfectly to this song.
